Sheikh Dr. Kasem Bader, the representative of the Druze Community, as are the religious minorities in the Middle East, which is the cradle of ancient civilization, the birthplace of three monotheistic religions and the place of a multitude of ethnic and religious minorities, has for years taken the initiative to create and be the Chairman of the Universal Peace Council (U.P.C); an international peace-promoting organization. Although most scholars who study the Middle East have focused on wars, oil, and geopolitics while ignoring minorities. The relationship between religious majorities and minorities in the Middle East is often interpreted as a relationship of dominance versus powerlessness. While this may indeed be the case, to pretend that this is only or always the case is to present a simplified view of a complex reality. Such a description places emphasis on the challenges that minorities face, overlooking their amazing ability to mobilize internal and external resources to meet these challenges. The Druze are a small religious sect of the Middle East, characterized by an eclectic system of doctrines and by a cohesion and loyalty among its members, which has enabled them to preserve for centuries their close identity and distinct faith. The Druze numbered more than 1,000,000 in the early 21st century and live mainly in Lebanon, Syria and Israel, with smaller communities elsewhere. Sheikh Kasem Bader, born 1968, Hurfeish Israel, is a prominent Druze religious leader in Israel and for all Druze people.
Joining the religious life in his teenage years, he was later sent to study religion at the top religious school of the Druze faith in Lebanon by Sheikh Amin Tarif, the famous Druze leader. For more than 20 years he served as the guardian of the holy tomb “Shine e Nabi Sabalan”, one of the most important prophets of the Druze, and it was he who developed it to its present state. As a born missionary, Sheikh Kasem Bader works hard all over the world and conveys messages of peace, so Diplomatic Mission Peace and Prosperity (DMPP), an international lobbying organization, accredited in UN USA, NATO, EU, ideated by the former American President Dwight Eisenhower and was brought, to 2010, from the American Ambassador Richard Holbrooke to operate in the Balkans and the countries under development, with the center in Tirana Albania, has decided to announce him as the tireless Messenger who has dedicated his soul to God and his heart to Peace and Prosperity.
