The Diplomatic Mission Peace and Prosperity (DMPP) has carried out many activities for Peace and Prosperity in Albania and in the Balkans during 2016-2017. Specifically: DMPP has lobbied for the sistership agreement of educational and cultural institutions of Belsh and Saranda Municipalities in Albania with several institutions of the State of Florida, Washington, etc. such as American Pontifical Catholic University (APCU), Vox Dei American University , Global Management School, American University International, American Diplomatic Mission for World Peace (ADMWP), American Diplomatic Mission for International Relations (ADMIR), Diplomatic Society of Saint Gabriel (DSSG), etc., with the aim of taking education into a higher level and to train with the best world experiences teachers, pedagogues, leaders and leaders of Albanian educational and cultural institutions. The bust of former Secretary of State, Mrs. Hilary Clinton, was placed in the Saranda Municipality as a sign of gratitude for her contribution to peace and stability in Albania and the Balkans. In recognition of the cooperation and support of DMPP projects, Mrs. Floriana Koka, Mayor of Saranda was certified with the title Peace Missionary, as well as the Mayor of Belsh Mr. Arif Tafani for his dedication to the education and training of farmers as well as their promotion towards the objectives for bio products, whereby the population of the area is healthy, and the export of agricultural and livestock products as well as bio-food exports according to the EU standards towards the Balkan countries.
DMPP in cooperation with the General Directorate of Prisons in Albania organized an artistic, cultural and educational ceremony with the prisoners and with the Prison Administration of Fier, a rehabilitation institution according to the EU Standards for respecting the rights of prisoners. The director of the Prison Arjan Hasani was also evaluated during this activity with the title Peace Missionary and an honorary diploma for his professionalism in the avoidance of violence in prisons from The International Bodyguard and Security Services Association (IBSSA), based in Florida.
DMPP, in cooperation with the Albanian Catholic Church, the Albanian Muslim Community, the Bektashis World Headquarters, the American Anglican Church and Academy of Universal Global Peace (AUGP), organized a training seminar for the education of Albanian and Balkan youth with the best traditions of inter-religious coexistence, tolerance and understanding that characterizes the Albanian people and the Albanian communities in the Balkan countries. The peaceful spirit of Albanian and world-wide Bektashism was taken as a model of tolerance and understanding, under the leadership of its world leader Haxhi Baba Edmond Brahimaj, a personality praised by Pope Francis, Bartholomew of the Patriarch of Istanbul and many world leaders working for peace and prosperity. For the long cooperation with DMPP for the education of the Muslim youth of the Balkans with the peaceful spirit of inter-religious and interethnic harmonization, understanding and tolerance, progressive anti-terrorist and anti-jihadist peaceful spirit, Haxhi Baba Edmond Brahimaj, was awarded with the title of Peace Missionary of DMPP, Honoris Causa Doctorate degree by AUGP and the Lifetime Achievement Award by US President Barack Obama.
DMPP cooperates with many schools and works for training young people with the love for their country, with the love for professional skills and basic occupations of life, agriculturist, cattlemen, farmers, craftsmen, mechanics, electricians, plumbers, etc., the professions that give them financial income and well-being in their country. Thus, young people do not abandon the Balkans, but increase the standards of development and civilization same as in the EU countries. A very good job is done by the School “The Martyrs of 5th April” in Kosovo, one of the best schools in the Balkans that educates its students with the spirit of Peace and Prosperity. DMPP in cooperation with AUGP and DSSG, valued with degrees of acknowledgement the leaders of this school.
DMPP in cooperation with the Municipality of Ulqin, Montenegro, has organized several meetings with young people of different ethnic communities to feed and promote the good tradition of inter-religious, inter-ethnic, inter-cultural, inter-communitarian and cross-border cooperation, a tradition that keeps alive the tourist culture, inter-Balkan trade and serves the welfare of peoples and peace and prosperity. Some local leaders were honored with honorary degrees for their values in service of social peace.
This activity was repeated with the Municipality of Kumanovo in FYROM, a municipality with different ethnicities, where sometimes certain individuals nourish the spirit of separation, violence, and interethnic hatred. After a long work with the main leaders of the communities, the spirit of international and inter-religious reconciliation was achieved in this town with sporadic problems of violence. The main leaders of the municipality were evaluated with Acknowledgement titles. The personality Feriz Dervishi was recognized by DMPP and its partners as a Peace Missionary and with a Honorary Diploma by US President Barack Obama for his contributions to social peace, philanthropy and volunteering as well as achievements in life.
DMPP attaches great importance to the training of educators, teachers, pedagogues and administrators of pre-school, school and university institutions with the spirit of peace and prosperity, to become leaders of the education of young generations in the struggle against the wounds of society, such as poverty , ignorance, violence and bullying among adolescents in schools, trends in alcohol and drugs, phenomena that have criminal consequences such as sexual violence, human trafficking, domestic and street crime, etc. DMPP works especially to identify and evaluate as the image and symbol of the best educational values, personalities which are an example and model for their communities, for their countries and for the whole Balkans. So some of the best teachers in the Balkans have been selected and evaluated such as: Lumturi Vladi, Director in several schools, Tirana, Albania, Mr. Jonuz Xhangolli, veteran teacher, Skrapar, Albania, Principal Mr. Xhavit Sahiti of “The Martyrs of 5th April” School, Smire, Kosovo, etj. These teachers encouraged by the appreciation and collaboration with the DMPP, work to perpetuate the spirit of peace and prosperity not only in their schools, but also in other schools. Lumturi Vladi, though now a pensioner, is volunteering in the houses of orphan children, pre-school institutions and various schools of Tirana, where she teaches lectures for inter-communal and inter-social understanding, peace and tolerance. She is welcomed and heard with respect as a heroine teacher, not only by students but also colleagues, who are devoted to being an example in her educational work.
DMPP works to promote the spirit of leadership and model image of the Peace Missionary, in various institutions working in the field of social food, art and culinary traditions, hotels, tourism, cultural and economic diplomacy etc. To succeed, DMPP has chosen some leaders in these fields such as Ramadan Kllogjri, dancer and singer of polyphonic heritage song protected by UNESCO, Tirana, Albania; Fitim Mimani, dancer and singer of Albanian folk tradition and cultivated art, Berat, Albania; Koci Tahiri, the leader of a union of cultural associations that feed the the spirit of inter-Balkan tolerance and understanding, Luan Mata, manager of Hotel Viktoria, Tirana, a hotel that is already distinguished for the hospitality of foreign pilgrims Peace Missionaries coming to visit the tourist, archaeological and natural values of Balkans, etc.
DMPP also lobbies for the good image of the values and achievements of the personalities of medicine, science, sports etc. We can bring examples such as Dr. Ahmet Osja, Living Legend of Albanian Agriculture Science, Dr. Muhamet Malo, Sportsman, European Champion, Honor of the Albanian Nation, Faruk Kalleshi, Athlete, Honor of the Albanian Nation, Dr. Salah El Dsoki, Heart Surgeon, Dr. Petrit Bare, Chief of the Cardiology Pavilion at the Mother Teresa Hospital Center, etc., who, in the name of DMPP, follow the best values for peace and prosperity, not only in the Balkans, but also in meetings, seminars, conferences and world activities .
